Wowza Media Server is a commercial and multiplatform graphical software project implemented in Java and designed from the ground up to allow users to easily and quickly stream multimedia files over their network.

The software also includes several add-ons, such as Wowza Transcoder, Wowza nDVR, Wowza DRM and Wowza StreamLock, that will make your multimedia streaming experience more enjoyable and smooth.

Runs on all Java compatible operating systems

Being written in the Java programming language, Wowza Media Server is a platform-independent application that runs on any operating system where the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) technologies are supported, including GNU/Linux, BSD, Solaris, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. Both 32 and 64-bit computer platforms are supported at this time.

Requirements:

• At least 1 GB of RAM per core
