WinThumbnails is a GNOME Shell extension that adds a dock for running apps, on your GNOME 3 desktop.
It displays live thumbnails of the docked windows, and it can be repositioned to the left or the right side of the screen.
To install this extension you must have GNOME Shell installed or Cinnamon. However, keep in mind that it has not been tested with Cinnamon.
