Based on the visualCaptcha PHP library, this plugin adapts it to seamlessly work and protect a WordPress site against spam bots and automated form submissions.
The plugin tightly integrates with most of the default forms included with the WordPress platform.
Officially the visualCaptcha for WordPress plugin can be inserted on:
- Login Form
- Register Form
- Signup Extra Fields
- Lost password Form
- Comment Form (both logged in and unregistered users)
Additionally, via the plugin's settings section in the WP admin panel, custom hooks can be added to display the visualCaptcha system within custom forms, plugins and themes.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
