View Utility is an application that harnesses the power of the Terminal to do more advanced customizations to the Finder and Dock than is normally allowed. You can move the Dock to the top of the screen, show a Quit item in the Finder menu, change the way windows minimize, and lots of other little goodies. Version 2 has now removed the installer. Now it is a drag-and-drop install.
