useful.countdown.js is a simple toolkit at which you can resort to when you need an animated countdown clock for your projects.
This widget uses only JavaScript, doesn't require large bulky frameworks like jQuery, is styleable via CSS, and also much easier to configure than other similar scripts.
Because something like "December 31, 2020 23:59:59" is enough to setup the end date for a countdown timer, the script is quite a delight to work with, compared to other jQuery countdown timers that work with the undecipherable UNIX timestamp format.
useful.countdown.js also includes a jQuery-based fallback system for older browsers, ideal when working on larger, enterprise-level projects.
A sample countdown timer is included with the download package, but don't forget to change its end date since the demo timer has already expired.
