useful.categories.js

useful.categories.js can be used to add filters to a collection of items.

These items can be images, form fields, paragraphs, DIVs, SPANs, and any other HTML structure that can hold an HTML5 data attribute.

The categories on which the filters work are stored in these data attributes, and the filters themselves are multi-select dropdown select lists.

Besides these select lists, the filters can also be outputted as external controls (links) that can be embedded with the page's text and provide a way to filter the list from other locations.

useful.categories.js provides a basic example to show developers how it can be implemented.
