If someone has browser the Web enough, they're bound to stumble upon one of those links that requires you to wait for X amount of seconds before accessing a page or starting a download.
In the Web industry, they are technically named "301 redirection short links".
The most famous and common these days are adf.ly links, used widely with illegal file sharing lockers.
unshortenit is a Python module that can and will parse these kind of short URLs and retrieve their original, final redirection URL.
unshortenit can be used in websites with user-generated content, where some users might try to get their affiliate earnings up by hiding their shared links with an adf.ly URL.
The module can be used to spare your application's or website's users the ordeal of having to wait over and over again for a timer to expire before accessing one of those kind of links.
