Txt2Fone is a simple mobile phone Java and GPRS application that lets you send free SMS text messages to your friends & family on their landline phone. Text messages are read out to the recipient over the landline phone. Texting a landline is extremely economical compared to voice calls and good fun. Free registration is required via the Web site.
