Transmission-daemon is a network service that allows both local and remote users to initiate and control their bittorrent downloads. It runs silently in the background using minimal system resources. Just extract the contents of the package into a new folder and double-click on the start.cmd script. Your favorite browser will pop up allowing you to use all the features of transmission-daemon. Also included are transmission-cli and transmission-remote. All these programs are free and open-source.
