Tracmath is a tutorial for the Trachtenberg system of basic multiplication. This system, in use in Switzerland schools since the 1940's, replaces the times tables. Students will be curious to know how the system works. You can tell them that the way to understand this system is with Algebra. Details are in the book. Full references come with the program.
