The plugin comes with its own settings page where HTTPS can be activated for the frontend and the backend of the site.
Additionally, SSL can be deactivated for a list of custom domains.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
