Toolwiz Smart Defrag analyses the discontinuous files in the disk (it makes use of the undocumented NTFS parsing algorithm by Microsoft and analyses directly without using the file system). Then it quickly puts these discontinuous files in the continuous space in the disk. Defragmentation will reduce the amount of fragmentation and speed up your slow PC. It does this by physically organizing the contents of the mass storage device used to store files into the smallest number of contiguous regions (fragments). It also attempts to create larger regions of free space using compaction to impede the return of fragmentation. It also has a smart engine to prepare enough space for your documents for the future use and this avoids the creation of new fragments.
