Simply copy a long url (that begins with http://) to your clipboard and launch the script. Next, a 'Confirmation' dialog box will appear when the clipboard has the new shorter url on it. Then you can paste it wherever you like.

What is new in this release:

Added error trapping in case a Tiny URL is already on the clipboard.

Requirements:

PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
Note: This script has not been tested on Mac OS X 10.4.4 (Tiger) but it may work.
