The Thank Me Later plugin sets up a basic newsletter module which watches for new comments on the site and sends a "thank you" message to the email address from which the comment has been posted.
The site admin can configure multiple "thank you" messages, each one to be sent when comments are posted on various site sections.
These "thank you" email templates can be edited in depth and adapted to each site's design and branding culture.
The admin can also configure the email sending delay period since the comment has been made and provide a link back to the article so the user will revisit your site and see responses to his comment.
Thank Me Later is a great marketing and promotional tool, allowing webmasters to generate new traffic from older users.
The plugin can also be used as a way to send out gifts and coupons to users that have left a comment.
Thank Me Later also comes with a statistics page in the backend, where data is logged for further inspection and analysis.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
