Text Tools

Text Tools is a collection of command-line text formatting tools which covers column delimited, tab delimited, CSV (comma separated values) as well as HTML tables and XML. The diagram illustrates the conversion paths possible with one or more combinations of utilities. Most of the tools are CSV centric as this is the most readily available format.

What is new in this release:

• Support for Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
• GUI interface.
• HTML help file.
• Input/source files are tested for validity before conversion.
• Failed conversions now remove partially created output files.
• UNC support.
• Environment variable support.
• Installation path is added to the system environment variable PATH.
