Steam Group Viewer, once installed, allows administrators to go to a special page in the WordPress backend and decide what group or game community to feature.
It doesn't rely on complex group IDs or API keys to work, and the site owner only needs to copy-paste the group's URL in a form field.
An additional widget width setting can be added as well, and once done the only thing left to do is to add the widget to one of the sidebars.
On the frontend, the Steam Group Viewer widget will show the group's name and icon, along with the total number of subscribers, online members, in-game members, and off-line players.
It will also show up to ten member profile avatars, which when clicked will redirect users to those profiles.
A "Join group" button is also shown, just in case other people would like to join in.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
