Smooth Gallery

Smooth Gallery does not look like many image galleries. It shows photos as a thumbnail grid, which expand and contracts with the current page, depending on the viewport (screen) size.

For each photo a caption can be attached, and for large photo collections, a pagination system is automatically added as well.

Clicking one of the thumbnails will expand it inside a modal window floating above the rest of the page, showing the photo at its natural aspect ratio.

Developers can also customize animation settings, the number of visible rows in the thumbnail grid, and the gallery's theme (via CSS).

A sample Smooth Gallery is included with the download package, to help developers get started in creating their own photo albums.
