He can add shortcode source code from his WP backend, using a GUI admin settings page.
The admin can add arbitrary content (scripts, iframes, php, flash, etc.) to posts, pages, and widgets with ease.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
Go to Pages --> Shortcodes and add/edit shortcodes.
