With one step users can quickly and easily change their own password when they log-on SharePoint without an IT administrators help, thus reducing an IT administrators' workload and save valuable time. Proactively send email notification to users when their passwords are about to expire. You can schedule when reminders are sent to users, thus ensuring passwords are changed before expiry. Users who belong to Active Directory, NT Directory, SqlMembershipProvider or LdapMembershipProvider can change their passwords on the Web Part. Your company password policy can be placed on the Web Part to help users to be aware of your company's policy requirements and complexities and change their passwords accordingly. A warning message will inform users once a password change fails or does not meet the policy. A confirmation e-mail can be sent to inform users once their password has been changed successfully. You can also choose if the confirmation is sent as a CC or BCC to administrators to help them identify password change activities. A log is available to track password changes and to monitor password change activities. You can check a password's change history including when a password was changed, who changed it and the nature and result of the change.
