Shard-Query

Shard-Query was developed to be used in environments where MySQL databases are used to process large volumes of data.

Implemented as a simple PHP class, Shard-Query reduces query time when dealing with large datasets and allows multi-threaded processing of query data.

Features:

• Parallel query execution
• Runs aggregate functions
• Multi-threaded MySQL engine via Gearman workers
• A map/reduce system, but with support for SQL statements
• Queries are handled only by the shards containing the needed data

• New version supports both fetch and store method.
