selection.js

selection.js was created to allow developers to track what happens when text is selected by the user.

The library can tell what has been selected, the selection's range and position in the page's text, the method through which the text was selected (keyboard or mouse), and when the text was deselected as well.

selection.js also includes support for setting or clearing text selections on demand, and can tell when words have been incompletely selected.

When it comes to usage possibilities, the library can be used in various ways, from WYSIWYG editors to form validators, text sharing apps, deep-linking libraries, and so on.

Docs and demos are included with the download package.
