SAT Import for Rhino is an ACIS SAT file import plug-in for Rhinoceros 3.0 and 4.0. This plug-in gives Rhino the ability to import 3d solid models from SAT files. Rhino has the ability to export solid geometry to ACIS SAT files. However it cannot import geometry from SAT files. SAT Import for Rhino removes this limitation by giving Rhino the ability to read ACIS SAT files and import the geometry as solid objects in the active Rhino document. SAT Import for Rhino is designed to be extremely user friendly and easy to understand. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into the Rhino environment. If automatic loading fails there are manual loading instructions in the ReadMe file. Once loaded it adds new commands to Rhino's existing commands and a new submenu called "SATImport" to the Rhino menu containing these newly added commands.
