Rune is a media player based on MPlayer engine. The project supports almost every media format (all formats supported by MPlayer). Rune is built using a GTK+ widget toolkit, and it fits perfectly into your GNOME desktop.

· Fullscreen support (you can seek using shortcut keys on your keyboard, CTRL+Left and CTRL+Right), turning fullscreen mode is done by pressing "F" key or by double-clicking on video
· Command line parameter: -l. Usage: rune -l [filename]loads a file and start playing
