The Responsive Full Background Image script shows Web designers how to avoid JavaScript and use only CSS code to make images properly display on the entire area of a page, without casing any blank white sections.

While the "background-size: cover" CSS property can achieve this on its own, because most websites these days are accessed from both mobile and desktop devices on a regular basis, if the background image is not properly chosen, on one of these devices, the image will not always fit inside the window properly.

This script also adds a CSS3 media query to target small screen devices and so make sure a different, more appropriate and lighter image is used for smartphones and tablets.

Overall this trick can be quite useful, especially since for a few years now high-quality background images are a common trend the Web Design industry.

A demo is included with the Responsive Full Background Image Using CSS package.
