"Required fields" is a well known term amongst developers and users alike, at least the ones that have ever tried to submit a Web form in their life. It makes reference to the obligatory nature of a field, if which left empty will prevent the form from being submitted.
The Requird WordPress plugin adds support for required fields, not on the frontend, but actually in the backend.
The plugin enables webmasters to make certain fields in the page/post publishing process as "required".
This means that a WordPress page or post cannot be published or created as a draft until certain fields are filled (like title per example).
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
