RazorSQL is a commercial software that can be successfully used for database manipulation. It allows for SQL queries, database editing, database navigation, as well as database administration. The application provides users with both easy to use visual tools and advanced features that allow them to browse, edit, manage, configure and develop databases.

Features at a glance

It is comprised of database tools, data import functionality, a database browser, a SQL query builder, a tool to edit database tables, data compare utilities, a built-in database, export data functionality, database query tool, and a SQL editor. At the moment, the program has been tested with numerous database servers/engines, including MySQL, DB2, Daffodil DB, Apache Derby / JavaDB, DBASE, Firebird, DynamoDB, FrontBase, HSQLDB / HyperSQL, H2, Informix, Interbase, Ingres, Mckoi, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Access.

Supports a wide range of databases

In addition, it provides support for the Mimer SQL, Netezza, Oracle, OpenBase, Pervasive, PostgreSQL, Pointbase, SimpleDB, SQLite, Solid, Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise, Teradata, and Sybase SQL Anywhere databases. The tool can also be used to export or import data in/from various formats, generate view, index and table for DDL (Data Definition Language), create, drop, execute and edit stored procedures, triggers and/or functions, as well as to backup databases.

Supports over 20 programming languages

Over 20 programming languages are supported by this application, including XML, SQL, HTML, PL/SQL, TransactSQL, and many others. Another interesting feature is the ability to connect to various database servers through PHP Bridges. As mentioned before, the application is not free and it costs $99.95 per user if you buy a single license, $96.95 per user if you purchase up to nine licenses, $94.95 per user for 10 to 19 licenses, and $92.95 per user if you buy 20 or more licenses.
