Plextor, known for its CD-ROM and CD-R drives, has posted a firmware update for its Plexwriter 8/20. Improvements in version 1.06 of this firmware update include improved write and read performance of discs that are Mode 2 Form 2 format, such as VideoCD and PlayStation.
