Platform.js was developed as a simple way to collect information about users, by simply sniffing and analyzing their user-agent string.
There's no rude privacy intrusion, only a basic parsing of publicly available user details.
The library can be used in the browser or inside an Adobe AIR app.
Works with client-side (browsers) and server-side environments. On the server-side, Platform.js is compatible with Node.js, Rhino, RequireJS, Narwhal and RingoJS.
