phpSecurePages is a PHP module to secures pages with a login name and password. It can handle multiple user groups (each with their own viewing rights), store data in a MySQL database or a configuration file, and be used to identify your Web site viewers.

It also has multiple language support and session support for both PHP3 and PHP4.

With this web application installed, you'll be able to secure your pages in a very fast and simple way. Just add 1 row of PHP code to your page, and access is only for those that are allowed. You can implement it with your existing database, or just put the data in the configuration file.

Do you want to have different levels of security? No problem, just create different user groups and give them their own rights. Furthermore, the data of the user (login name, password, user level and ID) is after login available to be used in your pages.

Do you want to change the look of the login screen? No problem, just change the HTML code in 'interface.php' to create your own design. And don't forget, you can customize this program to use your own native language.

What is new in this release:

  • All deprecated PHP functions and features were replaced.
  • The code was rewritten so that no PHP notices are thrown.
  • SQL injection attacks are prevented by sanitizing database input with mysql_real_escape_string().
  • The login interface is now able to pass both GET and POST variables to the destination page after a successful login.

What is new in version 0.40 Beta:

  • This version adds support for IP-based access. You will now be able to restrict logins to a user's IP address or IP address range.

What is new in version 0.31b:

  • This version adds support for PHP5, removes support for PHP3, changes the look of the login interface, enables the code to read md5-encrypted passwords, fixes issues with functions being loaded twice in frames, and adds Croatian, Macedonian, and Luxembourgish language files.
