Php Reports works by reading data from a source (database, tabular data files, PHP, JavaScript, etc.) and then outputting as tabular data.
This tabular data can then be presented in an easy to read manner using tables or charts, or allow users to email or download it in various formats like:
- CSV
- HTML
- JSON
- raw text
- XLS
- XML
- or any other (user-defined) custom format
The framework works with all AdoDB supported databases and with MongoDB. For the charting capabilities, the framework uses Google's Data Visualization API.
Developers can also use the Php Reports framework to build Web interfaces for their reporting apps, UI friendly controls that will allow users to build custom reports, filter and only target specific sections and ranges inside their data.
Php Reports can be used as a standalone application, or integrated as a plugin or module for more established platforms like Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, etc..
Requirements:
- PHP 5.3 or higher
