Requirements:
A storage controller that supports either SCSI UNMAP or zero detect to reclaim thin provisioned storage. If you in a virtual environment then a hypervisor that supports SCSI UNMAP or zero detect is required in order to reclaim thin provisioned virtual disk drives.
