Pennock Email Notifier

PEN sits in your systray and periodically checks for new email. You can enter as many email accounts as you want. If PEN finds new mail in your mailbox, it will display a small non-intrusive pop-up window and play the sound of your choice (every account can have its own unique sound). Besides ordinary POP3 email (and POP3 over SSL), PEN also supports Hotmail, MSN, Excite, GMail, Netscape.net, AOL, Yahoo, Lycos and Mail.com web-based email. When new mail arrives, you can preview the mail's subject lines, and even peek inside the message. If it turns out to be something you don't want (like spam) you can immediately remove it from your mail box.

What is new in this release:

• Added support for IMAP.
• PEN now supports an initial delay per account when it starts checking. This will prevent any flooding blocks from your ISP when you check multiple emails from the same ISP.
• You can now specify per account what PEN should open when clicking the Open button in the Email Preview Window. It can open your default email client, a website or an application.
• AOL problems fixed (and checking is much faster now).
• Corrected a bug where retrieving mail from Yahoo caused PEN to hang.
• PEN sometimes lost its registration information, causing it to display your 30-day trial was over. This has been fixed.
