Pdfsam

Pdfsam is an open source and cross-platform graphical software written in the Java programming language and designed to be used for splitting and merging PDF documents.

Pdfsam features two versions, Pdfsam basic, which is used to merge and split PDF files, and Pdfsam enhanced, which includes the ability to encrypt your PDF files with RC40bits, RC128bits, and AES128bits, set permissions on PDF files, add footer or cover to PDF documents, and mix alternate PDF pages.

Being written in Java, Pdfsam is a platform-independent application that supports Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

What is new in version 1.0.2:

• Bug #2098518 has been fixed (the one that made pdfsam freeze), the langpack has been updated, and a context menu with copy/cut/paste has been added to the destination text fields.
