Packwar Pacman is a set of free horror games set in the world of Pacman. Players wander around a darkly lit 3D re-imagining of the classic Pacman stage while huge yellow monsters hunt them down.
Classic reimagined
Packwar Pacman is a copyright-bending twist on the original maze survival game. Giant Pacman hunt the player through dark corridors, appearing suddenly in the gloom. Collect points and keys, earning high scores, while attempting to survive the endless onslaught. The famous power ups give the player a short time to fire a random weapon at the Pacman, destroying them in gory detail. While the game is simple, the level design and artwork make for a surprisingly tense experience. Corridors are lit by weak neon reds and blues, giving just enough light to see towering gnashing mouths appearing from the gloom. Grabbing a power up changes the music to a famous hard rock song, perfect for blasting away the hideous Pacman. Packwar Pacman comes in two variations, one with blood and gore and one without, as well as a co-op multiplayer option.

Packwar Pacman is a fun little game that holds some truly terrifying moments. The giant 3D models of Pacman are transformed into horror monsters while the brief moments of shooting are satisfying.
