Onebox

The concept of a link card is not new, being already pioneered with success by Twitter.

You can easily see it by default inside WordPress itself, where links to a tweet are automatically converted to card showing the tweet already embedded on the page. This is a basic link card.

The Onebox plugin extends this concept to support more link types and link domains.

Additionally Onebox also allows admins to edit the template that generates the link card itself, so they can adapt and display link information in the format they want.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
