noUiSlider

noUiSlider was created because in Web projects where a range slider was needed, developers previously need to load the entirely jQuery UI framework just for one meager UI component.

Since the jQuery UI framework is quite large, it made no sense when it came to performance, page speed and SEO to do that.

Here's where noUiSlider came into play and took the code behind the jQuery UI range slider and made it work as a stand-alone jQuery plugin.

Now the noUiSlider plugin allows the same functionality, plus some extra features, but without loading the entire jQuery UI library.
