1. niZER was built to crunch high number of files and help you. It runs through all the picture and video files, sorts them by the date-picture-was-taken, groups them by month and store them in folder accordingly. For example - Pictures taken in Jan-2012 neatly slides under a folder called 2012.01 and those in May-2012 under 2012.05. 2. niZER lets you define that threshold and intelligently mark them as events. So don't be surprised when niZER identifies the pictures that you took 4 years back and groups them under an event folder called 2008.07.12.EVENT. Eager to know what was this event, you browse thru the pictures in this folder. You now remember it was the whale watching trip that you took in 2008 at Boston. You then decide to rename it as 2008.07.12.BostonWhaleWatching. 3. Pictures / Videos taken from different cameras follow different naming styles. This can create a havoc with sorting or renaming of files. Again, don't worry. Just put them in the same folder. niZER will not only group them under folders but also rename them if you so indicate. It merges the pictures from different cameras and renames them in a perfect sequence based on date-time to the millisecond. 4. All of this in few minutes. We have had experience of sorting 5000 pictures in less than 15 minutes on a Windows desktop.
