mzSquash

mzSquash is a compression tool for mzML files, an XML-based standard developed by HUPO PSI for spectrometer output. The resulting .mzsquash file can be decompressed back into a mzML file, or read using an included SAX reader.

What is new in this release:

• First release includes a utility (mzsquash) to compress the mzml file as a .mzsquash, and a utility (mzunsquash) to decompress the .mzsquash file. There is a SAX reader accessible through the Java API as well.
