From the creator of Musique and Minitube, we welcome you to Musictube, a commercial and multi-platform application that has been designed from the ground up to act as a music player for the YouTube website.
It’s an endless, native YouTube music player
With Musictube, you will be able to listen to millions of songs from YouTube, without the need to use a web browser or any other third-party or obscure application.
You can play full music albums
Another interesting feature of Musictube is the ability to play full music albums, as well as entire discographies of artists, if they are available on the YouTube website.
A commercial YouTube music player
With the full (paid) version of Musictube, users will get access to unlimited tracks, which will be displayed in the playlist, as well as free updates forever and email support.
It’s written in Qt and supports mainstream OSes
Just like Musique and Minitube, Musictube’s graphical user interface is written entirely in the Qt GUI toolkit, which means that it’s a cross-platform applications that supports GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.
Supports Ubuntu on 64-bit and 32-bit architectures
On GNU/Linux, you can download Musictube as binary packages for the Ubuntu Linux operating system, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit instruction set architectures.
The demo version is limited to 10 tracks
In addition, you can easily install the application from the Ubuntu Software Center program, but you must pay for the full version if you don’t want to be limited to 10 tracks.
The demo version expires in 20 days
Being a commercial application, the demo version of Musictube will automatically be inactive in 20 days from the moment the user installs and opens it. Of course, this means that you must pay for the full version after 20 days of usage.
