Apples Mac OS X-bundled "Mail" is a beautiful and intuitive mail client, but it has its limitations for some users. Entourage v.X is still the top-of-the-line app for "Palm" features like calendar, notes, contacts, and for handling large mail loads. It is possible to directly import Adress Book entries, mail messages and mailboxes from Mail into Entourage but it is also very easy to not find that task very easy. Certain savvy people that can browse Microsoft's homepage might or might not need this program. This application tries to provide an intuitive drag/drop interface while still giving the user full control over the import.
What is new in this release:
Major update. Mailboxes are converted faster. The window can behave like normal or stay floating on top of other running apps, which is useful for those with smaller displays. After all it requires both Mail and Entourage to be open. Several fixes and improvements (thanks Versiontracker feedback!). As of Feb 12, 2004, I just changed it from Freeware to "Donationware". There is no registration codes or anything. If you liked it, please donate a dollar or so to my PayPal account balooba@earthlink.net. In return I will take the time and beef up the app to handle batch conversions.
