MobileDateSelector allows easier date information input without using the cumbersome popup datepicker widget.
The plugin is quite easy to setup and doesn't require changes to your page's original form HTML code (unless adding a class to the input field is considered ground-breaking for you).
Once setup, MobileDateSelector will replace the input field where a date was expected with three smaller ones, one for the "day" value, one for the "month" and another one for the "year".
MobileDateSelector can also be translated into any language and if you want to limit the date input process to only years or months, that can be done as well.
The plugin works by default only on mobile (small screen) devices, but if you tinker with the viewport breakpoint trigger, you can use it for normal devices as well.
Examples and usage instructions are included with the MobileDateSelector download package.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
