MNML was created for using in situations when Web developers want to build smaller websites and using an UI framework like Bootstrap or Foundation seems like a lot of work and code just for a few pages.
The project is more than a collection of HTML & CSS files on which you can start to create your site.
MNML is made up from:
- a minimal HTML5 page template
- device-aware typography styles
- basic, well-structured SCSS files
- lots of media queries
- Gulp integration (tasks)
The Gulp tasks help developers by:
- automatically compiling SASS to CSS
- auto-prefixing all the CSS code
- linting the CSS files
- minifying the CSS code
- starting a local static server for testing the site
- reloading changed files in the browser
As you can see, MNML is much more than just a low-level CSS framework, allowing developers to take advantage of the many updates and changes to the way programmers create and update their Web projects these days.
If you haven't been writing HTML and CSS code lately, then MNML will help you get acquainted to the community's most recent trends and tools.
