Getting started with Master of Tactics
To play the Master of Tactics game on your GNU/Linux operating system of your choice, you must first download the latest version from Softoware, where it is distributed as pre-built binary packages.
Save the archive on a location of your choice, unpack it and open the the folder that contains the extracted archive files. To run the game, double-click either the JAR file or the run.sh file. Windows users should use the run.bat file.
Under the hood
The game is written entirely in the Java programming language, which means that it is supported on all operating systems where the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is available, including GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. Both 32-bit and 64-bit instruction set architectures are supported at this time.
