Malodos

MALODOS helps you to scan, store, and easily retrieve all your personal documents. Its storage format is open and documented, so your document archive can remain accessible even without MALODOS. The documents themselves are stored as standard PDF files, while their metadata (such as title, tags, and description) are stored into a separate SQLite database in an open format. With MALODOS, you can also manage existing files in PDF, JPEG, TIFF, and other formats, so you can still use the documents that you've already scanned. You can connect to any external OCR program to give access to a fulltext search feature.

What is new in this release:

Many new features are added in this release.

• Allows to save file in pdf/jpg/bmp/png/tiff format. If the document is multi-page only pdf and tiff files are possibles.
• Allows to join multiple documents together (if you scanned them in two pass by accident
• Allows to add scan/file content to the end of any document
• Allows to search part of word (ie. searching for "visi" will also give documents containing television) or whole word.
• Add a seach dialog to help you building complex document request
• Basket view allowing to regroup different documents in a set and apply any action on all of them (join delete them, make a zip file, join them together)
