MailPackIT MO is an AddIn for Microsoft Outlook that reduces the size of file attachments for outgoing e-mails. It allows users to send large files quickly and efficiently by optimizing/compressing them upon sending. It has the ability to compress PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and various image file formats including Jpeg (png, bmp, gif, tiff). MailPackIT is ideal for compressing and sending digital photos. The file format is completely unchanged post compression meaning there is no zip/unzip process. The optimized/compressed file will look and behave in exactly the same way as the original. The recipient of the e-mail does not need MailPackIT installed to view the optimized attachments. For example a PowerPoint presentation is still a PowerPoint presentation after compression. It can be opened and edited as normal, without the need for additional software. MailPackIT also allows the option to enable automatic zipping of any attachment for an even further saving in space.
Version 1.03 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
