MacInfoTip is a freeware Windows shell extension utility used to display Macintosh files info in tooltips of your Windows Explorer the yellow balloons that pop up over a file, each time you browse folder content. MacInfoTip shows Type code, Creator code, Data fork size, Resource fork size, and comments of Macintosh files stored on any NTFS volume managed by standard Services For Macintosh (SFM), ExtremeZIP, and MacServerIP. As it recognizes common type of files, the program also displays a suggested extension that you can add to the filename enabling Windows to identify associated applications and easily open it using Windows double-click.
