Lightview

Lightview started as a Prototype-based modal windowing system, closely imitating the ground-breaking Lightbox plugin.

The term "lightbox" stuck to modal windows and you can now say Lightview is a lightboxing plugin.

Yet the plugin has changed along with the times across and even if it now uses jQuery instead of Prototype, it also manages to out-perform the original Lightbox by a big margin, in both speed, performance, and a bigger features set.

What is new in this release:

• Fixed an issue that prevented HTML5 players loaded in an iframe from going into fullscreen.

• Some CSS changes to avoid conflicts with frameworks like Bootstrap that don't keep the use of box-sizing: border-box within their own namespace but set it globally making it affect Lightview. This fixes incorrect element dimensions in those cases.
• Upgraded jQuery to 1.11.0

• Made sure that the slideshow button will only be enabled for groups containing exclusively images.
