Lichen is a small utility that lives in your system menu bar, and provides you with quick access to your Nest account. Lichen can display temperature information from your Nest Learning Thermostat in your system menu bar, including the current inside temperature, current target temperature, and current outside temperature.
Lichen can also optionally notify you via Notification Center when your heating and cooling system activates. When you need to make an adjustment to your Nest Learning Thermostat, or other Nest device, you can simply click Lichen's menu bar icon, and interact directly with your devices and adjust their settings.
To use Lichen, you must have a Nest account configured with a Nest Learning Thermostat, and be running Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks or higher. Lichen is not affiliated with, endorsed, or in any way associated with Nest Labs.
