For various reasons, a developer might need to know when the user has stopped interacting with his page.
This can be either for simple UX purposes or even more complex issues related to bandwidth usage.
LazyMouse works in the client's browser, following mouse movement and deeming the user inactive after a preconfigured time interval.
When this happens it can execute local JS functions to take various actions.
LazyMouse can do the same exact thing when mouse activity is detected again, nullifying the effects of actions took when the user went offline.
A simple demo is included with the LazyMouse download package.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- jQuery
