The "Large Drop Down Menu" script is basically a proper implementation of the mega-menu concept, an UI widget for showing menus that can display other types of content inside their drop-down panels.
Large Drop Down Menu works like any other mega-menu, showing a panel at mouse hover which can hold options organized in categories.
When showing the panel, the hovered menu's option width is automatically adjusted to the panel, and the rest of the menu pushed aside.
This helps highlight the currently hovered option, not letting the user think the panel comes from one of the other original menu options which would normally be displayed above it.
Large Drop Down Menu is great for websites with lots of pages and lots of content, being perfect for online stores, news portals or Intranets.
